FDA Authorizes first at-home Coronavirus Test

The FDA has authorized the first at home collection kit to test for COVID-19. That means they will permit samples that were self-collected by patients at home through LabCorp's Pizel by Lab Corp COVID-19 Test home collection kit to be used to determine if a person has the virus. Once a patent self-swabs to collect nasal samples they mail their sample back in an insulated package to a LabCorp lab for testing. It's presumed as of now you get the kit from you doctor or health care provider.
