Carnival Cruise Line announced that it plans to begin resuming some North American cruises beginning in August. There will be 8 ships taking off from select ports only beginning August 1st. Right now those are designated as Galveston, Texas, Miami, or Port Canaveral, Florida. They wanted to pick spots that were easily accessible for passengers by car. They will travel to Mexico and the Bahamas. There is a no sail order in place right now that goes until July 24th. Carnival said they are still trying to determine safety measures and all the necessary protocols including keeping passengers apart. There are a lot of experts skeptical that this is a viable option. We shall see....
