Scientists Fear Bald Men may be Hit Harder by Coronavirus Symptoms

There is a new theory floating around by Scientists that says bald men are more likely to contract severe Covid-19 symptoms. It's proposing that male hormones that cause baldness are also linked to severe Coronavirus symptoms. They say it's because the "first step to the virus's entry into a cell is a 'bite' from a protease enzyme that is produced only by action of androgen hormones". There are two scientific teams in Spains testing out these theories and found almost 80% of 122 men who were Covid positive and were admitted to three hospitals were bald. If this is true, they are hoping that certain hormonal therapies for these men may lessen the severity symptoms in advance.
