Furloughed Woman Making Pans and Pans of Lasagna for People in Need

There are a lot of stories about amazing people during this pandemic, but this woman caught my attention. Michelle Brenner was furloughed at her job at a menswear store in Washington state but decided she wasn't going to sit around and watch the world go by. She decided to offer to cook lasagna for anyone who wanted it. Three months and 1,200 pans of pasta later, she's still cooking! Michelle initially used her $1,200 stimulus check to buy ingredients, but has tapped into a successful Facebook fundraiser since. A local sportsman's club has given her the run of its kitchen to keep feeding hospital workers and needy families. She says, "I can't change the world, but I can make lasagna," .
