A Sequel to the Movie 'Troop Beverly Hills' Is in The Works

Troop Beverly Hills is getting a sequel after over 30 years.
The 1989 original film didn't get the greatest reviews but earned a cult following.
Sony is taking the film on and has already gotten producers and a screenwriter; writer Aeysha Carr is currently writing the script for the reboot ofPlanes, Trains & Automobiles.
It's unknown whether Shelley Long, the star of the original, or any of the other actresses from the film will reprise their roles.
Carla Gugino, Kellie Martin, and Jenny Lewis--who grew up to become the lead singer of Rilo Kiley--played campers in the original comedy.
