- Harley-Davidson is introducing a new bike - with pedals - next spring
- Harley will begin selling a pedal-assist electric bicycle as part of its new project, the Serial 1 Cycle Company, named after the nickname of Harley-Davidson's oldest motorcycle, Serial Number One.
- This project couldn't come at a better time for Harley. As its core customer base ages itself out of motorcycles, the company was forced to cut 700 jobs over the summer. The e-bike market, however, is booming, with $15 billion in sales in 2019.
