- A dad in New York built a 50-foot-long, 20-foot-tall pirate ship for his kids to enjoy on Halloween.
- Rochester's Tony DeMatteo's now 13-year-old daughter wanted a 'Pirates of The Caribbean'- themed Halloween a few years ago, so he built her a small ship. This year, DeMatteo went all out, building a massive ship that covers his front yard, complete with light-up cannons, fog machines and fire blasters!
- DeMatteo said he wanted to give his kids and his community something special during the pandemic. There's also a great cause attached; DeMatteo has asked that anyone touring the ship bring a canned good for the local food bank. His garage is currently filled with canned good items. Hero? Yep, in more ways than one! ❤️
