Study: People Who Regularly Eat Chili Peppers Live Longer

  • Even if it feels like you're dying when you eat a hot chili pepper, that Devil's fruit (yep, peppers are a fruit) could help you live longer.
  • A new American Heart Association study found that participants who regularly ate hot peppers saw "a 26% reduction in cardiovascular mortality; a 23% relative reduction in cancer mortality; and a 25% relative reduction in all-cause mortality.”
  • They aren't a guarantee for a longer life, but the study gives some credit to the anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and blood glucose-regulating properties of a spicy chili pepper.
  • This must mean thatHot Oneshost Sean Evans is gonna live forever.
