- Waffle House, the iconic restaurant chain, has teamed up with Georgia-based brewery Oconee Brewing Company to offer the first Waffle House-branded beer called Bacon & Kegs.
- Leslie Tillery, Oconee's media director, sent an email and invited a group of executives from Waffle House over to the brewery for a taste test.
- The beer is a red ale with a 6.5 alcohol by volume, and yes it's infused with bacon!!
- A Waffle House location in SunTrust Park in Atlanta will be the first to sell it. Six packs of the new bacon beer will be available at the brewery starting on December 18 and also available on draft.
