- He's launched a promotion called "Guac on The Rock."
- It promotes his new Teremana Tequila and gives you a chance to support local restaurants.
- Here's the deal. Between May 1st and Cinco De Mayo (May 5th), if you purchase guacamole at a restaurant along with a drink featuring Teremana Tequila, The Rock will cover the cost of the guac up to $10.
- If you are 21 or older, upload the receipt to guacontherock.com. Johnson will Venmo you the cash. Seriously.
- The promotion is capped at $1 million, so he will be paying for 100,000 bowls of guacamole.
- He said in an Instagram video, "I want to help get people safely back into our restaurants, bars, and hotels. This is an industry close to my heart and one who normally gives all of us so much support year-round. These people need our help and support to get back in business…. Let's go help them out, enjoy some amazing drinks and food and say thank you for all they do. And let everyone know that The Guac's on The Rock!"
