This entirely sad news, especially given he was a Chicagoan, But actor Kevin Clark (best known as the drummer Freddy "Spazzy McGee" Jones) in the movie "School of Rock" has passed away. He was struck by a car while riding his bicycle early Wednesday morning at a notoriously dangerous intersection on the Northwest Side. A 20 year old woman was issued several citations for the incident. Clark grew up in Highland Park, IL and started playing drums at the age of 3. A memorial is planned for Wednesday night (5.26) at Teddy O'Brien's in Highwood, IL. Clark was 32 years old.
