Judge swore in lawyer who once appeared in his courtroom 16 years ago


This is such an incredible story of fate and faith. On Friday afternoon, Edward Martell, stood in front of Judge Bruce Morrow as he was sworn into the State Bar of Michigan. But what was utterly amazing about this story is that 16 years earlier, Martell stood in front of Morrow in that very same courtroom and pleaded guilty to selling and manufacturing crack cocaine. It was when Judge Morrow told Martell that he didn't have to sell drugs, that he believed in him, and challenged him to become the CEO of a Fortune 500 Company that Martell says a light went off.
