New York Restaurant Creates the World's Most Expensive French Fries

  • A New York restaurant broke its tenth Guinness World Record with its latest menu item: a plate of French fries that costs $200.
  • Guinness announced that Serendipty3 in Manhattan, New York, has cooked up the ultimate “Crème de la Crème Pomme Frites” for Tuesday's National French Fry Day. 
  • Creative Chef, Joe Calderone, and Corporate Executive Chef, Fredrick Schoen-Kiewert, whipped up the new food item to provide guests with a unique and delicious French fry experience.
  • “Crème de la Crème Pomme Frites” include lots of fancy stuff like upstate Chipperbeck potatoes, Dom Perignon Champagne, J. LeBlanc French Champagne Ardenne Vinegar, batches of pure cage-free goose fat from France, shaved black summer truffles from Italy, truffle butter, organic A2 A2 100% grass-fed cream from Jersey Cows, 23k edible gold dust and more. 
  • Serendipity3 just reopened last Friday (July 9) after a lengthy closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
