Oh no! This can't be true...a new book is giving the coveted honor of best pizza city to a very odd choice. It's not our own Chicago (which we of course know really DOES have the best pizza) or even New York! The honor is going to Portland, Oregon in an encyclopedic book being released in October called Modernist Pizza. They tasted over 400 pizzas from various cities around the country and found that Portland is having a "food renaissance". The pizza was not only great in quality, but apparently very creative as well. Hmmmm...I wonder just how FAR they deliver? lol!!
