- Billionaire Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space company has announced plans to build a commercial space station.
- Blue Origin says its station, called Orbital Reef, will be "a commercially developed, owned, and operated space station to be built in low Earth orbit."
- The mixed-use business park would allow for companies to run hotels. manufacturing facilities or any other business - all above our planet.
- Blue Origins wants to use Boeing’s Starliner and Sierra Space’s Dream Chaser to ferry people to and from the space station.
- The company hopes Orbital Reef will be operational later this decade.
