- Stacker has looked over IMDB and Metascores ratings of Hollywood's biggest films. Considering only English language films that had been released in the US, Stacker says the greatest film of all time is 1972'sThe Godfather, directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
- The Godfather scored a 100 from both Stacker and Metascore, with the site mentioning that even legendary director Stanley Kubrick called it the greatest film ever.
- 1957'sTwelve Angry Men, in which 12 angry jurors determine the fate of a suspected murderer, came in as Stacker's second greatest film of all time with a score of 96.
- 1942'sCasablanca, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, came in third.
- Interestingly,Pulp Fiction was rated the sixth greatest film of all time while 2003'sLord of The Rings: The Return of The King came in seventh.
