- Behold the great pyramids of ...the wash cycle?
- While Egypt holds some of the most historically significant and wondrous pyramids on Earth, Great Britain decided to give it a go by creating a pyramid --- of 1,496 recycled washing machines.
- The over 44-foot-tall pyramid is now in theGuinness Book of World Recordsfor largest washing machine pyramid thanks to its builders, Curry's PC World, a British appliance company.
- While it's unlikely Pink Floyd will ever perform in front of this pyramid, the company said it created the washing machine pyramid to raise awareness on electronics recycling.
