- We're going to see a whole new side to America's Dad, actor Tom Hanks.
- Elvis director Luhrmann says we're in for something we've never seen before when Hanks plays Elvis' manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
- Historically, Parker was a carnival worker turned manager with a serious gambling problem who allegedly got the King of Rock n' Roll hooked on drugs.
- Luhrmann spoke on Hanks' role, saying "One of my great joys in life is working with well-known actors who are very well known for certain strings on their instrument. Tom will be playing a new string on his instrument. And I think that's a thrilling thing to see."
- The Elvis biopic, starring Austin Butler as "The King", is set to premiere in theaters on June 24th.
