- If you've flown Spirit or Frontier Airlines, you either love them for the low costs or despise them because of the fees to do anything other than get on the plane, sit down and shut up.
- On Monday, Frontier announced the purchase of Frontier to make the fifth largest airline in the U.S.
- Both companies praised the deal saying the merger will bring customers more low fares to domestic destinations, Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Frontier and Spirit are also hiring. The combined airline is looking for 10,000 new employees and plans to add them before 2026.
