The Most Common Passwords in America

Nordpass looked at the most common passwords used in the world and determined how long it takes hackers to crack them.

The three most used passwords in the world are:

1. "12345"- it takes less than one second to crack this password, used by nearly 33 million people in 2021.
2. "qwerty" - Over 22 million used this password in 2021, which also takes less than a second for hackers to figure out.
3. "password" - It also takes less than a second to crack "password" which nearly 21 million people used last year.

Tech experts say if you're using any of these passwords, it's time to make a change.
