- A firehouse in Freehold, New Jersey will soon become a museum and exhibition space honoring hometown hero Bruce Springsteen.
- The Asbury Park Press says the museum will house "artifacts, photographs, multimedia displays of voice, film, concert footage, interviews and interactive displays."
- The Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University and the city are collaborating on the museum to "ensure that the musical legacy of Springsteen and his important role in American music history remain in New Jersey for generations to come", said Springsteen archivist Eileen Chapman.
- The museum's opening date hasn't been announced at this time.
