- Southwest Airlines is rolling out a new fare that will let you transfer canceled trip credits to someone else.
- The new class is called "Wanna Get Away Plus."
- For a little more money, Southwest Rapid Rewards members will be able to give each other the value of a canceled flight. So, if you can't use the travel funds within 12 months, someone else can.
- Southwest's lowest "Wanna Get Away" fares won't allow you to give someone else the canceled ticket value.
- The new fare class will also earn passengers 33 percent more frequent flyer miles.
