The average American drinks nearly 29 gallons of beer each year, so the TOP Data Beer Report decided to take a look at which beer brands states across the US were swigging.
Budweiser dominates the US as the #1 beer brand. Bud is the preferred beer in 23 states, including Alabama, California, Idaho, and New York.
Bud Light is the favored beer in Connecticut, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Washington state.
There were also some microbrews that beat out the big brands as some state's favorite beer. Spotted Cow ranked number one in Wisconsin, Lone Star was tops in Texas, Denver Beer was best in Colorado and Dogfish Head topped Delaware's beer list.
