In an effort to better serve drive-thrus and curbside pick-up, several fast-food chains are either shrinking or eliminating their dining rooms.

Eat This says Taco Bell's future Go Mobile locations will trade dining space for massive drive-thru lanes.

Panera opened a "next-generation" location in Missouri last week with a dining room that's five times smaller than their usual locations.

Some Burger Kings are trading dining rooms for food lockers and shaded patios.

Other fast-food chains rethinking their dining rooms are Portillo's, IHOP, Del Taco, KFC, McDonald's and Chipotle.
