- A guy in Detroit is fuming after buying tickets to see what he thought was one of his favorite bands, Red Hot Chili Peppers.
- The guy, named Aaron, couldn't believe his luck when he read that his favorite band was performing at a small venue called Magic Bag. He told The Detroit Metro Times a show at such a small venue seemed possible since the Peppers "were doing smaller venues out west, doing little record stores, free shows."
- Aaron thought "Oh my god, maybe I’m lucky" and spent $80 buying four tickets to the show.
- It wasn't until he got his ticket confirmation that Aaron saw he had purchased tickets to see the Red NOT Chili Peppers, a tribute act.
- Aaron said he's "fuming" over the whole situation, adding "It’s kind of like slick advertising, basically."
- He also made sure to mention that he was "completely sober" when he bought his tickets.
