Instacart says its most sold grocery item is the banana.
In fact, bananas are so popular that 100 billion of them are eaten worldwide each year.
Instacart looked at other purchases made by those who buy bananas and found that Royal Gala apples were most bought along with bananas.
People who bought bananas also frequently bought Honeycrisp apples, blueberries, Hass avocados and raspberries.
