- The preferred type of margarita can vary across the country but the most popular is a margarita on the rocks using Jose Cuervo and sea salt. It was the favorite margarita in ten states like Arizona, Rhode Island, Michigan, Washington, and Kentucky.
- America's second most popular margarita is on the rocks using Patron and sea salt. States like Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York prefer this blend.
- The third most popular margarita is the frozen kind using Cuervo and sea salt. Six states like Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, and Mississippi like their margaritas cold!
