- The first David Bowie documentary to be approved by his estate, Moonage Daydream, has dropped its first teaser trailer.
- Director Brett Morgan, who was also behind Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, said "The feature-length experiential cinematic odyssey that explores Bowie’s creative, musical, and spiritual journey."
- A press release also said the doc is "told through sublime, kaleidoscopic, never-before-seen footage, performances, and music, and is guided by Bowie’s narration."
- The doc takes its name from Bowie’s 1972 album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.
- Moonage Daydream will get a worldwide theatrical release this September. Other reports say the film will also come to HBO and HBO Max.
