- Some sea lions didn't like the folks hanging out at their beach, but was it all about the people?
- A video shows sea lions (apparently) chasing away patrons at La Jolla Cove in San Diego.
- Charlianne Yeyna recorded the video. She said, "I started recording because it was really funny to watch for me because to see all these tourists getting blown away by these giant sea lions."
- She continued, "The sea lions were sleeping and were just massive on the beach and I was just watching them. And this woman got really close to them, like 4 feet away, and was trying to take a photo of it up close, and it just woke up and started chasing everybody."
- Experts from Sea World said it's mating season for the mammals. So, while it appears the sea lions were chasing the people, they were actually chasing each other. Ooh la la!
- The video has over a million views on social media.
