This woman takes home the award for honesty and you have to ADORE her for it. JoAnn Oliver of Georgia ordered a chicken sandwich at a drive-thru KFC when she found $543.10 underneath her sandwich. She called police and reported what happened. It turns out the manager accidentally placed the daily deposit in the bag. Her call to police not only saved the manager's job but according to police, "she reminded us that we have amazing citizens in Jackson and it's people like you that make us great!". Ms. Oliver has a husband going trough cancer and the family has over $2 million in medical bills. But she said, "If you don't do the right thing, it's gonna come back on you. I mean, it wasn't mine. I didn't need to keep it. I'll get mine in the future". I bet she will. She's off to a pretty good start, KFC bought her meal and gave her a gift card for another. I'm sure this is just the beginning as....Karma does always have a way of working out.
