PAWS Chicago, the city's largest No Kill humane organization, partnered with Wings of Rescue and BISSELL Pet Foundation to save 85 cats and dogs that survived Hurricane Ian in Florida's Gulf Coast and Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico. Combined with the 53 pets that arrived to PAWS Chicago's Medical Center earlier in the week, that brings the total number of hurricane rescue pets to 138. The animals are all being cared for and relocated from shelters already in those areas (Don't worry- these are not missing pets). They are SO adorable and many of them are ready for adoption.
