It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown has been a Halloween tradition for years. The beloved annual Halloween special premiered on CBS in 1966, one year after the popular Peanuts crew released the other holiday favorite, A Charlie Brown Christmas. In 2020 the Peanuts specials were a part of a deal with AppleTV+ moving them off of public tv. Then, last year they were moved back to public TV to PBS. This year it won't be on PBS as they no longer have the rights. For non-subscribers, you won't need a subscription to watch it... Apple TV+ will make It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown free to stream for everyone from Oct. 28-31.
