This is the craziest twist of events. In a recent conversation with Gayle King for the History Channel, Julia Roberts revealed that late civil rights activists Martin Luther King Jr. and his wife, Coretta Scott King, who were close friends of her parents, paid the hospital bill for her birth. “The King family paid for my hospital bill… Martin Luther King and Coretta,” She said that Coretta called her mother to see if they could be a part of her mother's school and the rest is history- the families became good friends. When Julia's parents were unable to pay the hospital bill after her birth, it was the King's who stepped in to make the payment. That was October 28, 2967 in Smyrna. Julia just celebrated her 55th birthday and the world was stunned to find out this incredible story.
