Make sure you are super diligent and mask up as the battle with COVID continues. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization said coronavirus Omicron strain XBB.1.5 has become the dominant strain in the United States. XBB.1.5 went from four percent to forty percent of cases in a few weeks. Health officials won't speculate if the new strain will cause more hospitalizations or fatalities as only time will tell. White House Covid-19 Response Coordinator Ashish Jha encourages everyone to get the updated bivalent booster and to wear high-quality masks in crowded indoor spaces.
