I hope they show this case on CNN! An AI-powered robot lawyer will be the first of its kind to defend a human fighting a traffic ticket next month. DoNotPay is an AI-creation that runs on a smartphone, listens to court arguments and formulates responses for the defendant. The AI lawyer tells the defendant what to say in real-time, through headphones. DoNotPay will actually pay the court cost if the robot loses next months case. The company that designed and created it has used the chatbots before to help lower bills, get refunds for broken in-flight wi-fi and to fight parking tickets. I'm not sure lawyers are in support of this new form of "lawyering" and many states have already banned the bots to appear in court due to privacy issues. What do you think?
