A man who has attended over 9,000 consecutive concerts says his streak has come to and end. Robert Matonis, known as 'Beatle Bob', had attended 9,349 consecutive concerts over the last 26 years, starting his streak on Christmas Day, 1996. He had a short break during Covid, but otherwise never missed a chance to get to a concert. Sadly, he said his run must end as he was diagnosed with Lou Gherig's Disease last February and it makes it difficult to attend shows. He wrote " It was a good run while it lasted and hopefully my weight will return fast enough to put me back on the dance floor."
