Genesis raked in more than $230 million in 2022 from selling their catalog and a farewell tour. Sting earned $210 million from also selling his music rights. Sting was $35 million ahead of 2022's third highest-paid entertainer, movie maker Tyler Perry. Another rock act cracked the top ten list of 2022's highest paid entertainers; The Rolling Stones brought in $98 million on a single European tour last year.
