A German brewing company has created the world's first powdered beer! This might be a game changer as you can whipping up a brewski as fast as you would a cup of instant cocoa. The impact a powdered beer could have on the beer productions carbon footprint is significant. One powdered brewing company's general manager said "We have calculated that, if we now relate this to Germany, we can save about 3 to 5 percent of the CO2 emissions for Germany alone." The only bad news right now? It's alcohol-free! But in the future that will be addressed. The general manager said "We want the complete beer taste. We have the foam, we already have the beer taste. We want to add the carbon dioxide in powder form. We want to add the alcohol in powder form. We can do all that with powder. And it is absolutely fascinating that we have succeeded. For the first time worldwide.”
