A 1963 recording of The Beatles has surfaced making it the earliest known recording of the band. It was recorded April 4th, 1963 by then 15-year-old John Bloomfield as The Beatles performed at his all-boys boarding school in Buckinghamshire, England. The Beatles played songs from their debut and covers by their heroes like Chuck Berry. Bloomfield said of the hour-long recording "I would say I grew up at that very instant. It sounds a bit of an exaggeration, but I realized this was something from a different planet." Take a listen.....
