It looks like we are headed back to the beach. Deadline reports that a reboot of Baywatch is in development. No further details were given about the timing of the relaunch. In 1996, at the peak of the show's popularity, Baywatch was seen in 146 countries, and it was reportedly the most-viewed show in the world. Baywatch ran in syndication for 11 years and featured over 240 episodes.
