A petit basset griffon Vendéen [VON-day-on] named Buddy Holly has won 'Best in Show' at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. This win is a first for Buddy Holly's rabbit-hunting breed, which ranks only 154th in prevalent purebreeds worldwide. Holly's owner said that petit basset griffon Vendeens are wonderful dogs, adding "They’re just very independent but very charming and just silly. Their goal is to make you laugh every day.”
