We have been talking about the BEST homemade gifts you can give and there have been SOO many amazing ideas. One listener named Sue said her good friend Gayle has the greatest recipe for homemade Baileys that she gives out every year. It is apparently a giant hit and friends look forward to it during the holiday. Well, good news!! Gayle called us to share that recipe and is so happy for you to have to pass along the goodness. Here you go and Merry Christmas!!
- pick a beautiful bottle you want to put it in and leave extra room at top because it will separate and you want to be able to shake ingredients
- 1.5 cups of Christian Brother's Brandy
- 1 TBS vanilla
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 Pints heavy whipping cream (4 cups)
- 1 can (14oz) sweet and condensed milk
- 3 TBS Hersheys syrup
- Mix with a hand mixer very low (**NOT A BLENDER or it will turn to into Whipped Cream)
