This is a little bit frightening...tech giant Meta has just secured a patent for new A-I technology that could keep your social media account active long after you’re gone.The system is designed to train on your personal posts, likes, and messages to create a digital version of you that can "simulate the user" after death. This A-I would actively generate new content and even reply to direct messages in your specific style and voice. OMG. The patent describes the technology as a way to "maintain ongoing engagement" so a user's digital presence never truly has to end. A spokesperson for Meta says the company currently has "no plans to move forward" with the tool despite owning the patent. What do you think?
