Every day after school, 17 year old Elisa walks past this house. One day she noticed a dog sticking his nose out to say hi.
"At first I was afraid that he would bite me, since most dogs would bark at you and seem aggressive if you came near their house."
Finally, she gave in and went over to say hi. That's when she met Ralph.
Ever since that day, Ralph has waited for Elisa every day after school. She always stops over to say hi.
"Most of the time, by the time I walk to the spot, he waits there for me to pet him before I leave."
Even though they have been buddies for months, she only just learned his name when she finally met his owner. She ran into him walking Ralph and struck up a conversation.
