Donald Trump says Snoop Dogg deserves “jail time” for targeting the president in an inflammatory music video.
Snoop’s “Lavender” music video, there’s Trump-resembling clown named President Ronald Klump, who is calling for all dogs to be deported. The rapper kidnaps the president, chains him up, and points a gun at his head, as if he was going to assassinate him.
Now Trump himself is blasting the performer. He tweeted on Wednesday morning, “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”

Snoop hasn’t yet responded to Trump’s apparent threat. It was reported on Tuesday that the Secret Service was aware of his music video, but it was unclear if a formal investigation was going to be launched. In January, there was a similar backlash against Madonna for saying she wanted to blow up the White House. See Snoop’s controversial music video below.
