Two-Tower Plan Revealed for the old Chicago Spire site

A new two-tower plan has been revealed for the old Chicago Spire site in the city!

The site has been vacant for a few years now after construction for the 2000 foot tower stopped early with a huge hole in the ground.

The One World Trade Center New York City architect David Childs shows a plan for a south tower rising 1,100 feet and an 850-foot north tower. The site will be two residential towers and one of the biggest in the city (Behind Sears, Trump, Hancock and the future Vista tower).

They expect to begin construction by late next summer, with the towers scheduled for completion in 2023.
