Maggie Vazquez, a Chicago Charter School Academy of Global Citizenship fourth-grader, had a chance to go on her school's two-night camping trip, thanks to the school's co-founder, Helma Wardenaar.
Wardenaar refused to let Vazquez's cerebral palsy stop her from going on the school's annual trip, even if it meant carrying the 10-year-old on her back during three days of hikes.
So nice!
