Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly punched an elderly woman in the face on a CTA train Thursday.
The man is shown in security images standing near the woman, who was reading on her Kindle onboard a Red Line train. The man then punched her in the face, causing serious injury to the woman’s eye.
The man is described as a black man in his 20’s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.
The man was wearing a blue “Illinois” t-shirt with jeans, brown shoes, and a black backpack.
