A 38-year-old woman has been diagnosed with West Nile Virus in Aurora.
She checked in to the emergency room at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora on July 5. Her symptoms include headaches, nausea, fever and diarrhea according to the Will County Health Department.
Apparently, she was in the Wisconsin Dells the week before her symptoms started....
The health department is warning residents that West Nile Virus is active in Illinois this summer and that the number of mosquitos testing positive for the virus in Will County has risen sharply over the past month.
Yikes! Good to be aware of this!
