Six people, including a pregnant woman, got trapped on a Hancock Tower elevator over the weekend.
They had been dining at the Signature Room and suddenly started plummeting 84 floors (from the 95th...to the 11th floor!!).
One of the hoist ropes, which carries the weight of the elevator, in elevator car #2 failed. After three hours trapped, firefighters managed to cut a 5x5 hole in the wall of a parking garage to rescue everyone.
